CAPTIVATING by John & Stasi Eldredge
'Every woman was once a little girl. and every little girl holds in her heart her most precious dreams. She longs to be swept up into a romance, to play an irreplaceable role in a great adventure, to be the beauty of the story. Those desires are more than child' play. They are the secret to the feminine heart....'
'Your heart matters more than anything else in all creation. the desires you had as a little girl and the longings you stil feel as a woman, they are telling you of the life God created you to live. He offers to come now as the Hero of your story, to rescue your heart and release you to live fully alive and feminine woman. A woman who is truly captivating..

we shall meet again...
Recently celebrated a farewell dinner for Sarah who has decided to go back to Malaysia to work. It's really sad to see good friends leaving, one by one. Prep class at kids ministry will be so different without having a good partner like Sarah to serve side by side with. Missed the ones that went back last year, the ones that I drew closer with at church. Felt a sudden gap later on when they left especially not having them coming up to you anymore to give you a big hug and a big smile each Sunday morning. I guess there's a season for everything.. and we've gotta move on. Sarah's farewell has truly reminded me the precious people that God has placed around me at this hour, in this place and time. I agree totally with what Leny said the other day that God has His own reason and timing in placing specific people in our lives.
we'll definately miss your laughters and joy, sarah!
Beautiful people at sarah's farewell..
shaun, pey-li, edwin, sarah

ski, ski, ski!
whoah, been long since I last updated this blog. Lots of things been going on the past few weeks. Tiring, but good. Slacking at uni though. haih..been sleeping a lot somehow. Get worn out pretty often too. Not sure why. One of my friend said ..."We're aging, that's why". Hmmm *thinking*....
Had such a good time last weekend. Was skiing at Fallscreek with my church friends. Was quite satisfying this time because I didn't fall as much as I did last year and I managed to SKI!!! Super super fun but I wished it was longer. The minute I was on those gears, I just wanted to ski, ski and ski..non stop. haha..Had such a good time in fellowship as well. Mahjung seemed to be one of the highlights in the trip especially for Shaun, our dear Mr. anderson. He was the preeeety rose among the thorns (the rest of the girls) who seemed to be handling the game very well. I think he enjoyed the mahjung more than the time he spent skiing.
I believe that if it's your first time skiing, it takes great courage to ski down those slopes. I remembered the first time I went skiing, I was so afraid of falling down and knocking into people. And getting up was a major problem for me. Exausted to the extreme. But I'm so grateful that I had friends who were so willing to teach and guide me. They were there each time to carry me up when I fell. Indeed, with all of those coaching, it paid off well this time. =)
Took some shots on the way to Fallscreek. Couldn't believe we started our journey at 3am in the morning!
beautiful morning..with SunsHINE!
5 cars on the road..
all ready to go...
the group that lasted the longest..till the end of the downhill slope
heading homee..
