taking a break

birds
Took some time off from my assignments...ended up doing this! It's for the kids at Sunday school, my amazing prep class. Had promised those who gave the right answers that I would bring in something for them the next class as a reward. Wanted to buy them chocolates...but hmm, I believe this is much much better. haha..

Keep Singing...lalala

Another rainy day
I can't recall having sunshine on my face
All I feel is pain
All I wanna do is walk out of this place
But when I am stuck
I can't move
When I don't know what I should do
When I wonder if I'll ever make it through
But I gotta keep singing
I gotta keep praising your name
That's the only way that I'll find healing
Can i climb up in your lap
I don't wanna leave
Jesus sing over me
I gotta keep singing...

-Mercy me Undone -

Going through a hard time where I'm pretty much bulked down with assignments and battling through the emotions going on inside of me. Just wanna thank all of you who have been so encouraging and supportive in prayer. Yes, I'm gonna keep singing...no matter what the circumstances might be.

Leny, Hui Shan, Vicky, Yee Boon, Philip, Foong, Nick, Aris = Hang on there and may God's strength help you to press on and to keep singing in whatever circumstances that you are in! Believing that in Christ , we're all gonna pull through victoriously. =)

my poser dude

mememe

ah, This should be the picture of the month. haha...this friend of mine simply wants me to put his pretty photo on my blog for you guys to comment. I think he's on his way to become a model in his own world. Good on ya, nick, my old buddy! You look fine but next time, make sure your photographer cuts of those unnecessary stuffs in the photo..for example this one: The black Umbrella! nonono..that's not good..

Photos of the month

Took this photo while waiting for my turn to scuba dive the other day. They look restless, don't they?

Reflection

Took this photo at the safari. I kinda like this picture of this boy, especially his reflection on the glass window. I converted the photo to a duotone mode in which it turned out so much better than the original photo. The tone helps to direct the audience to simply focus on the boy and his reflection while the rest of the objects in that photo would eventually start to fade off slowly.

Jolly Good Sunday

Had such an awesome time at the Kids Mega Sunday event last weekend. All of the teachers had to dress up in saris cause we were working under this Indian theme. It was mission Sunday on that very particular day and the reason why we have chosen to work on an Indian kinda setting because we wanted to encourage the lil kids to give an offering each week where the offerings would then be collected to sponser a few kids in India. I thought that was such a good idea! Personally, I think the teachers had much more fun doodling around compared to the children. haha..Both Sarah and I were helping out in the play where I had to act out as the prodigal son. George ( my JKA leader) did such a wonderful job in coming up with the script (Indian version). Here's a short excerpt of the script:

Son: What have I done by golly! I am in more mess than a sacred cow in a butcher shop! I wasted all of my inheritance on wild parties and drinking and belly dancing! I have brought disgrace and shame to his humble name! Even his servants who pick the tea in the plantation have it a million times better than I. I must go back to him and humbly say "1000 apologies my Father."

Father: My eldest son! Don't ge your turban more knotted up than it already is! You know I love you and all I have is yours! But hits is your brother...who by golly was as lost as an ice cube in a hot curry..but now I tell you he is found! He was as dead as a cat in a dod pound, but now thank God, he is alive again! COme, it is time for some jolly good beef curry and a cup of quality tea.

We had to try our best to speak with an Indian slang in that play. It was simply hilarious. I was told that I spoke really well. Ah, what a compliment! I think I must have gotten it from Pey-Li! haha
