back to square one.

i took the tram today...
one word, alive.

It's a lil like how you walk into a museum and all of a sudden, everything becomes alive.
boy, how i missed it. I mean it's amazing to just hop in and drive your own car. Driving when the sun is setting...Ah...it's stunning! The dim colours across the sky, the smooth curvy roads, GMB on the CD player. A good way to just chill out and enjoy the breeze.

BUT...
it's so interesting to just sit back on the tram and observe the people around you...

It was just an ordinary day, 4 years ago..but something changed my heart on that particular night, on that tram...

It took me back to square one.
love. people.

recollection

recollection of old memories.

some had sunrise sketches,
others had a smile on its own.

*we all need daily reminders to value the people around us.

dear TC

It's amazing to hear when someone misses you genuinely..and that perhaps, you did manage to leave something good behind. I thank God for that short conversation I had with his mom today. It felt as though it was neatly planned, just what I needed to accept it and let things go.

it was worthwhile afterall.

*I will still miss 6 year old TC, his collection of toy truck stickers and our funny, over the rainbow tiny little conversations together. :(

what makes it special?

when you've got this lil boy sitting comfortably on your lap, with a HUGE smile on his face...
when you've got a friend who would sit down on the couch with you and teach you about what really matters at 1 am in the morning
when someone decided to prepare breakfast and accompany you in the car while waiting for the others to arrive (thanks su san!! )
when you've got an email from a long lost friend who remembered the words you once spoke about...
when a bunch of friends decided to drop by a friend's place to care and pray about the situation.

i revisited my purple diary today.

the new black; mini, smart and cool

I picked 'Joel up on Friday and it felt so so so good.
We're both looking forward for more Safeway groceries and musical instruments pick ups, great music on the CD player, awesome company of my cellgroup mates & friends, chit-chats, road-trips, ice-blended mocha on our cool mug holder.

Thanking God for joel!
-the new addition to my black family.
